Moving towards the face of these glaciers that have carved my pedagogical landscape, ETEC 565a was my my ninth course in the MET program.

I wish I would have taken this course a little bit earlier in my MET journey; it teaches you to become a "mountaineer" in the design of learning management systems (LMS). Through student-led inquiry, you decide which medium would be the most valuable for you to investigate, then ultimately build a module of online learning within that medium, linking it to instructional design theories. I chose Moodle, for reasons further elaborated in my artifacts below.

Other key long-term learning from this course, which my artifacts will further illuminate, is the importance of timely reflections on learning and the importance of feedback.

There are many frameworks and applications that help shape the way we use technology; greatly similar to the way glaciers have shaped this diverse geological landscape.
